Alicia Keys for Reebok

28 Mar

Alicia Keys recently released a line of sneakers with Reebok. These classics are back, styled with hot colors, studs, and even a wedge heel. My favorite pair is the Nylon Slim, modeled by Alicia Keys in the bottom picture.Alicia Keys for Reebok

Report colorful sandals
Here are some great new arrivals from Nordstrom. Above, I’ve picked out some black sandals that will go great with your KocoSky dress. Neutral shoes elongate your legs and pair well with those hard to match dresses. I ‘ve included leopard print in the neutrals since it compliments virtually any solid color. For a POP of color and a bit of sassy attitude, try a colored shoe. It’s also a great way to bring out a specific color in a dress with print.

If you love shoes, this is a great year to invest in some really fun, colorful styles.

Every piece of clothing you purchase is an investment.  Make the right investment and it will last you for seasons to come.  The Elisa dress from KocoSky is a flattering piece with chic appeal.

Shoes from left to right: Bernardo ‘Matrix’ wedge, Franco Sarto ‘Suzy’ sandal, Lamb ‘Imogen’ sandal. KocoSky Drop leaf earrings. Salvatore Ferragamo Aviator sunglasses.

The versatility of this dress will allow you to pair with flats, wedges, or platforms.  Put your own spin on it and let the fashionista in you come alive.  Invest in this dress and you’ll be ready for your next vacation, dinner date, shopping trip, roof top party, graduation….the list goes on and on.

New styles to be added to!

Valentine’s DATE attire

3 Feb

February 14th is right around the corner.  It’s a day that we’ve put aside to show our loved ones just how much we appreciate them.  True LOVE should be celebrated everyday, but on Valentine’s day, it’s always fun to be a part of the LOVEly festivities.  Flowers will be sent, chocolates will be devoured, cards will be read and dinner will be special.  Don’t be caught off guard, prepare yourself now and make sure you have that perfect outfit ready.  When you look good, you’ll feel confident and your energy will uplift that special someone’s heart.

The KocoSky Juliana dress has a curve enhancing silhouette with a chic print.  It’s the perfect combination for a woman who wants comfort and style. The light material is easy to wear and ideal if you’re planning on dancing after dinner.

Another Line 'Updated' Skinny Patent Belt-Nordstrom

I’d pair this dress with a thin belt to create and accentuate a waistline.  You can’t go wrong with hot pink but a bright and cheerful tangerine would also pair nicely.  Tangerine is the “it” color for the upcoming Spring season.  It’s always fun to add a pop of color.

Theory Blazer-Bloomingdales

To keep warm, I’d add a structured blazer like this one by Theory.  The front is designed to bring the waist in, creating a visual hourglass and its simplicity won’t overpower the dress.

Aldo Westberry Platform Pump-Nordstrom

I have a couple of pairs of shoes in mind for this outfit. This pump above by Aldo has a thin silver heel which makes it dangerously sexy.

Cesare Paciotti-Zappos

Above is the Cesare Paciotti bootie. I love the strip detail down the front.  It covers the foot right up to the ankle, lays close and leaves a little bit to the imagination.  The loose drape of the strips also prevents the shoe from cutting off at the ankle, which can shorten your legs.  It’s a pump and bootie in one.  Love it!

My absolute favorite shoe for this outfit is this Camilla Skovgaard bootie.  The top sits right below the ankle and scoops downward which makes the legs look long and lean.  From the side, the saw-like bottom detail adds an edgy punch.  It’s such a sleek, modern, and powerful shoe.  If you’re not a blazer type of gal, try this shoe with the dress and a leather bomber jacket.  It’ll give you a bit of an urban appeal.

Whatever you decide to wear, have a LOVEly time.  Break out of the “red” cliché.  Try other colors on this special day. You’d be surprised at the power of color.  I recently went to a party which was hosted by a close friend.  She had on a dreamy cobalt blue top.  It complimented her skin tone and gave her a powerful glow. She looked magnificent.

Stay tuned for URBAN DECAY NAKED2 pallet review and swatches.

Color carries a very powerful meaning.  It often shows our emotions and displays our personality.  This season, break out of that little black dress and flatter yourself with bright bold colors.  This coral and cream Marisa dress from KocoSky is a lovely little number, sure to spark interest.  You’ll be glowing with confidence.

It’s a light and airy dress with volumes of feminine appeal.  If your wondering what kind of shoes to pair it with, try neutrals. It’ll elongate your legs and let the dress speak for itself.

Jimmy Choo ‘Koko’-$1,150- Nordstorm

I love the Jimmy Choo!  I think the subtle neutral combined with the gold trim is perfect. It would also go great with gold accessories.

LAMB Kam shoe-$145.99(sale) Zappos

You can’t go wrong with a pair of neutral leather sling backs. This is a great pair that will take you through the summer.

Lumiani ‘Ko’-$99-Zappos

If you prefer a closed toe, a soft suede shoe like the Lumiani ‘Ko’ works great too.

Mark and James’Malana’-$179-Zappos

If you prefer a black heel, try a strappy sandal. I’d pair this with a black clutch trimmed with gold detail and gold earrings.

What kind of shoe would you pair this dress with?

This season leopard prints are HAUTE. It’s a print that constantly reinvents itself and manages to stay on trend. This Fall, be bold and amp up your outfit with a bit of spotted footwear. Here a few shoes that I adore at different price points.
