It’s time for a change. I see you everyday and you’re really starting to WORK MY NERVE. You’ve been with me through the years, and I know you’re irreplaceable but lately your lack luster appearance has got me questioning our relationship. Should I cut you loose or try to change you? Will I be satisfied with a temporary fix or do I need something drastic? Maybe this cold weather has got me confused and it’s all just a phase.
Today I woke up and decided to take baby steps. I’m not in the mood for a cut so I decided to go with a new color. It’ll wash out soon and the warm burgundy tint will go well with the new fall lipstick colors.
Changing the color of your hair can make a dramatic difference in your appearance. It can be costly but sometimes it’s a needed splurge. That instant change can uplift and make you feel new again and today it was just what I needed.
I went with a deep burgundy. It’s a subtle color that glows in the sun. Close up you can hardly see it.
Red tones never last for me but next time I think I’ll try a deep red. Have fun with color. It can complement your skin and transform drab to fab. If hair color is too drastic for you to change, start with clothing. This fall, the trend calls for fun shades such as deep purples, deep teals, and radiant warm oranges. Mix them with the neutrals that are already in your closet and watch your wardrobe come to life.
